After watching a few videos and comments on various Jeep websites, most people recommended replacing the climate control system to eliminate the blinking defrost light while the system completed its calibration. Well the new one does the same thing, so maybe there is another underlying issue or this part is not a great replacement, I may never know. For now I do not recommend this part, unless I can find the "real" issue.

I have the vehicle at a local shop today as it does not work correctly and possibly needs a calibration done on it. I will have to see what this process does. The defrost light flashes on the new one for several seconds or a minute or so before the heat and AC system works. The old one did the same but it also developed a problem of not being able to regulate the temperature. The new one purchased seems to work in that aspect. I felt the price for this "new one" was overpriced compared to others that were new compared to the price paid.
