I first want to mention this only has 75 percent the lumens of my 150 watt hps. However it runs much cooler and has a full spectrum. I got it for seedlings and it will work great for that. As for quality of the product it feels and looks top notch. Fans make some noise but that's a result of moving air. I like it but like I said it is more comparable to a 150 hid than a 300 as described.

I have a 3x3x6 foot grow tent and this light covers the whole floor space. The lights housing is well built and the fan noise is low. I can not feel the heat with hand two inchs away. From seedlings to bloom this light works great. The tent stays at between 78-84 which is just right for what I grow. I use a small fan to keep it at 80 degrees. This is my second grow with this light and will buy another when its 50,000 life expectancie is reached.
