I rarely write any reviews of any products. At first I am impressed with this Blackberry Evolve design and form ( I've had couple of Blackberries in the past). I was very skeptical to buy it and did all research about it. Finally I got it with all excitement.
As I've read several reviews about it (specifications regardless of FULLY UNLOCKED). This phone is NOT for the US market ( not fully compatible to any GSM carriers)
I've tested with ATT ( fully capable 4G, you don't need to set APN). With Tmobile (not compatible with the baseband, only 2G voice, not compatible with 4G data)
I've also tested with Verizon, you would need to set APN to VZWIRELESS, unfortunately VZ would kick you out minutes later!!! They might filter the networks, I guess
Very well made blackberry android. The only complaint is I wish they kept the finger print scanner/home button on the front. They had it right with the blackberry motion, stop trying to be like Samsung.
This is a nice very nice phone, however it does not work well in the US. Also Blackberry do not support it or have any information about it and will refer you to Optiemus India (the manufacturer of the phone). I do not recommend buying this phone if you live in United States.
