It worked!
I have very blonde eyelashes so there was an obvious improvement from using this dye. It's a little hard to apply if you need glasses, so get a friend to help you. It lasts just about 28 days. It makes my eyelashes feel fuller and look better. Not as dramatic as wearing actual mascara but for the days I don't want to bother with mascara I at least don't look washed out and scary. I'm glad I found it. One drawback...they could put in more than just one applicator. This is supposed to be for multiple applications but only one applicator. Come on! So so results
I have had my lashes tinted professionally for years. When I saw this product, I thought I'd give doing it myself a try. Tube 1 has a colored gel (it's called cream, but it's gel-like & is kind of gloppy) to be followed by a clear/amber gel activator in tube 2. First off, the applicator is AWFUL! Not only is it ineffective, but you could poke your eye out with it. I wound up using a dental flosser brush instead. If you want to get the top/upper base of your lashes (mine are blonde), you have to use eyeliner brushes. I did that after the underside, so it adds yet another step. Easy to read instructions
I bought this right before Christmas hoping that it would help my lashes, I'm not sure if it worked. My lashes are already pretty dark and this didn't help at all. This product is for people with red or blonde eyelashes. Don't buy it if you have brown or black eyelashes because it only dyes them, it don't not make them longer or thicker. I knew that when I bought it and I was hoping it would make them darker but I suppose my lashes are already dark enough. The only thing I didn't like about this product was the eye shields, when you put them on and you have to look down to grab something, the shield pokes you in the eye and makes your eyes water which will counteract with the dye since it gets your lashes wet. Too dificult to use
I have very blond lashes, so I have had to use mascara to make them show up everyday of my teen and adult life. I finally decided I wanted to have a semi-permanent solution and do it less often. I purchased the 28 day mascara, Followed the directions and still have blond Lashes. I tried twice to use the mascara and apply it their way. Then I thought it might work better if I could apply it with a mascara brush. Which was much easier. This product didn't work for me, but I may work for someone else. Works but made my skin super sensitive
I guess my biggest challenge using this product was protecting my skin around eyes. The protection pads provided wouldn't stick to my face so I tried alternatives (trimming them, Vaseline, etc.). It worked somewhat but some of the product still got around. When the coloring process was over, the skin around my eyes became significantly irritated and swollen for around 36 hrs. I was in pain for the first 12 hrs. I would use this product again but would have to come up with a better way of isolating it from the skin...Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

stick to the professionals
I have BLONDE eyelashes. I get the professionally tinted and they end up perfect! They get dark enough to look like I have lashes yet dont look like Im wearing makeup. I tried the 28day mascara... HORRIBLE! It wont dye my lashes. It will dye my fingers and eyelids though. There is no reason why it shouldnt dye the lashes but it just doesnt! Not Effective
Tried using this several times to give it a chance to do what it is supposed to do. I followed directions & took my time in applying. I was particularly interested in using this product on my lower lashes because mascara rubs off during the hot, sweaty summer months and leaves black residue under my eyes. After all the trouble of applying, it washed off by the next day. Mascara does a much better job. Will just use waterproof mascara in the future.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Didn't know this existed
Saw this on YouTube from a beauty blogger I follow...she demonstrated on her Chanel. I have invisible eyelashes, so I don't like my eyes without mascara. I also don't want to wear mascara when I am just going to be around my house since it is not the best for healthy lashes. I bought the black color (even though I am blonde) and it has been great because at least now my sparse short lashes show. The product works very fast, and has lasted me a few weeks (still looking good as of this review) I was a bit hesitant to use a "dye" around my lashes, but this is not a runny formula and the short time of a minute was easy to keep one eye closed (doing one eye at a time). Easy to use
I like this product. It was easy to use. I had read other reviews and used both Vaseline and the eye pads while looking down and I didn't have any problems with smudges. I used the applicator that came with the box, but I have since ordered the mascara wands because I do think it would make it easier to apply. The product covered good and my blonde eye lashes are not visible.
