I like everything about this radio, except the display. It is so bright it lights up my bedroom, which being a light sleeper is a problem for me. There is a dimmer but the change is minimal. Well designed, except the display. Easy to use, especially the atomic clock. Display is clear but way too bright.

this is the third radio I have and it i's been a great radio both for my bedroom and the bath area. never having to worry about the time, since it's synced to the Colorado time center. The adjustable light can be lowered for the bedroom or set higher for my bath area. I love it and would recommend it to anyone.

Wanted excellent reception and the Sangean pulls in hard-to receive stations with a clear signal. My wife is glad the weekend alarm time can be set independently of the weekday alarm. The settings are complex - after 2 weeks I still don't have everything right. It took almost a week for the atomic clock to kick-in.

It is easy to use and allot of good functions. The only thing I don't like is I can only choose weekday, weekend, all the time or once alarm. I work Friday night till Tuesday night and it will not program for the days I need like my cell phone. I bought this high end alarm clock because I was hoping to have the choice to choose the days I need and not have to always remember to have my cell by my bed as I go to sleep before work. A note to Sangean, not every body works Monday through Friday.
