Holds temperature well. Lid fits nicely. I did not by an automatic egg turner which makes way more work. But I fit 135 quail eggs in this incubator. If I would have bought the egg turner I would have only been able to fit 30 quail eggs. They seem to be coming along well even thought I have to open it twice a day to flip them. To keep my temperature while flipping them I have a heat lamp directly over the incubator and turn my heat up to 90. It only takes a few minutes after putting the lid back on to get back up to Temperature.

When I set up my incubator the screw to set up the temperature striped out an it took me an while to get it dailed in to than settings an temperature I need to hatch my turkey eggs . That's the only main concern I have about it . Other than that it works great once you finally get the temperature right . Just be very careful with that set screw I didn't do anything but turn it to try an set it an it striped out that easy

I don't like the handles for picking up the top..very shallow....hard to grasp..but other than that I feel it is a great buy..easy to assemble and operate..Once temp was set..it stayed ..feel very comfortable checking only once a day..I am in first hatching and every thing is going very well....

Easy to put together. A little finicky when trying to set the temperature. Worked great as a hatcher for my chicken eggs! Will be using next week for duck eggs. Definitely worth the money. Very sturdy for styrofoam.

Quality product, eggs have to be on the natural side, this allows for my small eggs to incubate in a natural position. And the small plastic net base is good for all egg sizes, I am happy I bought this product.
