The HAT figures are an excellent match with Perry, Victorix, or older 30mm figures. The best set is the Light Infantry Voltiguers as they are easier to paint than the Carabiniers. The Carabiniers Bearskin are not as well defined and need some trimming. The Light Ifantry Chasseurs is a problem since this older set is attached to the sprues more firmly and needs more sawing and cutting to free them. They are a good addition to a Napoleonic army since many regiments fought in skirmish order

I initially hesitated because review indicated considerable flash, and rather average mould and sculpting. But, since there was no other option for the purposes of my diorama so I took a chance and was GLAD I did. This set is adequate for my skill level and is rather quite nice with some flash, but can be easily removed. I'm glad I bought it and believe it may be a discontinued item, so FYI. Cheers!
