Good Glue
I bought this glue to fix two corners that snapped off the face plate of an old USA Kustom amp head. I thought the face plate was glass, but turns out it's just real hard acrylic plastic that feels, looks, and sounds like glass. The glue worked well bonding the corners back on. I gave it four stars do to the fact the line was more apparent after using glue. When I simply pushed the pieces on you could hardly tell there was a line. After the glue it was fairly easy to see the line. Was this because it was hard acrylic instead of glass? Sorta worked
We "tried" to glue together a glass figurine. A few parts glued after A LOT of glue was put on but a couple parts didn't even take. The parts that did take, we had to hold for quite some time so they would adhere. We paid for a tiny tube but we were hoping it would of worked better than it did. Not woth the price of admission
I purchased this for the exact same reason as the picture on the package, the broken stem of a wine glass. And like the picture the stem of my glass is still broken. I followed the directions to the letter several time with the same outcome each time. As soon as I take it out of the jig I made, to let it set up in, the pieces come apart again with the slightest of pressure. I purchased two of these and will probably toss the second one in the trash before ever opening it. In my opinion the picture on the packaging is more then just misleading, It's a lie. Dries white, not clear.
It's advertised to dry clear, but I used it on glass and it dried white, like solid colored white, and so I had yet another mess to clean up and get off my glass. I needed it to dry clear so that it wouldn't show on the glass item I was trying to repair. It's essentially super glue....nothing special about this.
