First off this is typical Maxpedition: Excellent quality, well designed, and very usable on a day-to-day basis. I carry a bag everywhere while I'm out 'n' about and have for around 30 years; money, cards, contact lens stuff, & EDC. The DEP has lots of room and is, frankly, slightly larger than I really needed. My last bag, a Maxpedition MRZ has been near-perfect since 2019. It's gotten tired and needed replaced and I wanted a slightly larger replacement. Now the battle is to put it everything I'd like to have with me and still keep the weight down! It was a toss-up between the DEP and the CAP and for my use the DEP won.
