This book is the true story of the Smurl family who suffered continuously in a haunted house. The worst part is that it took so long for them to be rid of the demon. There were "demonologists" who were called to help but the Smurls did not require obsevation or analysis, they needed deliverance. It is a good warning to those people who may be tempted to indulge in occult or New Age activities of what can happen by opening the door to evil spirits. Not that the Smurl family were noted in the book to have done these things. What they could have benefitted from would have been a Christian gentleman such as Arthur Neil who cast out 47 demons from Doreen Irvine in the book Freed From Withcraft.
Well worth the money! It is very scary to read about evil spirits trying to take over a family! I could not put it down it was that good! This book should get 5 stars because it is so detailed with facts of this case. I had to sleep with the light on it scared be that bad. It was very very very good! There is a part in the book where they leave the house. Trying to get away from the evil spirits and the people on the block hear evil screams and see lights in there house when no one was there. It is a must read for any ghost fan.
I've read a lot of paranormal books but this one is one of the best!

By far one of the best paranormal books I have ever read. This is a book you can read many times over. Get a beverage, find the chair you like, sit down, start reading and you wont be able to stop...Oh, you will be scared. Len S. Chicago, Il
