I ordered a few of these Thermoelectric Coolers, and I could not get any of them to use 100 watts of power, even at 15V with water cooling / warming on both sides of the Peltier. At 12.64 volts in they use 4.6 amps, which comes out to 58.1 watts, perfectly in spec for a 60 watt Peltier. if you want a 60 watt cooler, these will work great for you, but I do not recommend this item if you want a 100 watt Peltier device.

Don't underestimate how much heat it can make. I used a large computer heatsink and fan to dissapate the heat away and there is a maximum difference in temp. between the two sides but if you can cool it off efficiantly the one side will build up condensation and freeze it in moments!

I can't believe this hi tech thing costs less than 3 bucks. Good value! This and many el cheapo electronics are from China (via Hong Kong), but the quality is excellent. As an electronic enthusiast, I want to say: Thanks China! You've made my life easier.

it is realy cheap but i dont think it is 100W because i got olny 3,5A at 12v on my atx PSU wich have 18A at 12V howoever it is cooling but less than 100W
