I was initially hesitant to buy this pack because, although it looked pretty cool, it was inexpensive and I assumed it would be poorly manufactured with inferior materials. I could not have been more wrong! This pack is awesome!! Truly! Unequivocally! AWESOME! The black fabric is tough and durable; the compression straps and adjustable connectors are solid with quality stitching; the interior storage capacity is way more than I expected and with a built-in hydration pouch and dual, cleverly hidden access ports; exterior pockets are roomy and secure. The cool skull logo and large Velcro area to easily display your own patches are just the icing on this mouth-watering cake! I'm rarely THIS pleased with a purchase but If you want to walk around with a bad-@$$ pack that says, "Bring it on!! That's right, I'm tough! Now, what are you looking at?!", then, do not hesitate!! Look no further! THIS is THE pack!! I immediately bought a second one for a gift. I can't even imagine a cooler pack than this! Seriously A+++++Read full review

I had been looking for a day pack to carry on the motorcycle in addition to my regular luggage. Wanted something small enough to carry the basics around town, but large enough to carry the important stuff should the bike break down and I have to hoof it a ways. This pack is about 40L and seems to fit that bill. Material is good and tough and should last a long time. Buckles are strong. Zippers could be a little beefier, but they seem to be plenty stout. The thing I noticed first about this pack is that it is extremely comfortable to wear. Padding should be good for loads up to around 30lbs. The waist belt and sternum strap do good job of preventing the pack from moving around. Waist belt is nothing fancy, but the molle webbing provides a good place for a camera, compass pouch or similar. This pack really will hold a lot of gear. With the front buckle-in flap, the bottom cinch straps, and molle webbing everywhere, one can easily put as much stuff on this pack as in it. The flap portion easily holds my Alps Mystique 1.5 tent in the upright position which keeps the load inside the outer edge of my shoulders. There is a large zippered pocket at the rear (against your back) that isn't mentioned in some descriptions. I really only have two issue with the pack. First, the two zippered side pouches are too small/short IMO. This position is where I prefer to carry my G.I. canteens, but they will not fit. Nor will these pouches fit nalgene or similar water bottles of a 1qt. size. There are more than enough total cubic inches to do so, but again, they're too short. I will likely piggy back a couple molle canteen pouches. In fairness, the pack is designed to carry a water bladder, not bottles, but that brings me to issue #2. The compartment for the water bladder is inside the main compartment. I see this as a design flaw, as it requires one to fully remove the bladder from the pack to fill it, or risk spilling on the rest of the contents. It can also be tricky to re-insert a filled bladder into an already packed pack, and should the bladder leak or break, the rest of your gear is getting soaked. The pack should have been designed to carry the bladder in the rear-most zippered pocket mentioned earlier, and to have the hose ports exit from this pocket. That would make things a lot easier. I paid less than $40 for this pack, including shipping. My local outdoor retailers are selling the exact same unit for closer to $80. The fit, finish, and materials, are quite good, and the scalability make it rather versatile. For $40, its a pretty darn good pack.Read full review

Good price, excellent pack, unbeatable value. SOG packs are made from ripstop nylon so they won't fall apart, as good as a 3.11 pack but at a fraction of the cost!! A++

Quite a bit bigger than I anticipated really. Bag seems very dependable, made of quality materials, and stitching looks perfect.

Good compromise in size between the standard daypacks and full-blown hiking packs.
