Nice and clean CPU, fair price. Installed, slam, bam, and away we go. Works like a champ and has breathed new life into my computer (HP 3130MT). It's not that difficult to swap these CPU's if you are careful and make sure you don't do something stupid. The CPU looked very nice and clean and I could read all the imprinting on the CPU. Took the old Pentium out, put in the new i5, a little thermal grease, installed the fan, buttoned up the box and put power to it. Started right up with none of those Uh Oh beeps. Went in to the setup to make sure the computer ID'd the new heart, and there it was. Just an FYI, if you go into Windows and check (the first time you boot) the processor and info, it will still show the old CPU. I just rebooted again, and it showed up correctly. Happy camper. Really much faster than my old CPU and I do a LOT of video editing. This really helps. Next on my list of upgrades for this computer is a Samsung EVO SSD.Read full review
