Works great
Works great both as USB isolator with further optical connecting to DAC as well as adding 176K DSD DoP capabilities. Brings sound quality to match direct CD-transport - SPDIF connectivity. Works well with 196K/32-bit over optic cable, no sound degradation noticed. Exceptional value for money. Reason why only 4 stars is because this board does not turn off optical output, when there is no signal. Because of this it has to be manually disconnected from USB input. Not very convenient.

Works as advertised
I expected to use this board on my 'second' system as I already had a usb/spdif converter on the primary, from a good manufacturer. I was happy enough with it that my old board wound up on the second system.
