This is the best value knife in the $10 range hands down. The blade came VERY sharp, shaving sharp to be exact, and the fit and finish are excellent. In fact, I can't imagine how they are making any money selling the knives at this price because the fit, finish, and materials are equal to knives in the $100 range. With that said, it's important to remember that it is a $10 knife, not a $200 one. The sheath and handle are made of a very tough hard plastic (not kydex), and the blade is 3/4 tang. I would say this knife is good for general every day use, and perhaps as a work knife. It could be used for bushcrafting, but it's really not as strong as it should be for that kind of hard use. However, you will NOT find a knife this good at that price range. I like this knife a lot and it's a good tool for it's price. Really no reason not to buy one or several just to have stashed around the house or car.Read full review

An excellent product at a price that can't be beaten. Great steel, and I really like the new finger guards (old style was puukko design with no guard). Handle is comfortable, and doesn't require the care a bone/leather/wood handle needs. This is a working man's knife.

The Morakniv is a Swedish-made carbon steel knife with a molded plastic handle. The knife has a blade length of 3.5 inches (89 mm / 8.9 cm), a blade thickness of 7/10 inch (2 mm / 0.2 cm), and an overall length of 8 inches (205 mm / 20.5 cm). The knife comes razor-sharp from the factory, and is extremely useful as a general purpose knife. The molded plastic handle prevents water and moisture from corroding the tang of the knife. The knife also comes securely held in a hard plastic sheath that fits well on most belts. The knife is extremely rugged, very sharp, and has an ergonomic handle that fits well in most hands. The hand plastic handle is quite strong, but I do not recommend using as a "pommel" / striking surface. The knife blade is made from carbon steel, and is very easy to sharpen. The knife blade does NOT provide a good striking surface for fire-starters / flints. Keep in mind that the carbon steel knife will RUST, and users should make sure to wipe the blade after EVERY use to prevent oxidation of the blade. Overall, this knife provides an excellent value to the consumer. Consumers will be hard pressed to find a knife of equal quality at such an affordable price. Read full review

They say first impressions are everything and if so, I'm going to love this knife a long time. Out of the box, I've got stones and strop ready to do the normal new knife routine to get it up to speed. Three minutes later, two knives were done, only thing needed was run the side of the blade along the strop to polish it a bit. I've bought a lot of knives in my lifetime and so far, this is the best blade from the factory. I do have concerns about construction, but I'm not so dense to not know that plastics these days are tougher than ever before and used in industrial applications with outstanding results: therefore a hunting/camping knife handle should be fine.

I paid about $9 for this knife because I was curious about all the hype. I'll tell you what they weren't wrong this knife is everything and more. I wanted to see if I could turn a plain old mora knife and a something more like I've seen on YouTube. After about four hours I have completed my journey most of that time was simply letting it sit in apple vinegar to put a nice patina on it. I added about 50 yards of fishing line two hooks and to sinkers along with about a half roll of electrical tape, 10 feet of 550 paracord both black and blaze orange, a cheap Ferro rod with Striker and a piece of inner tube from a bike tire. All total together it cost me about $15 for three or four hours of fun.

It’s a Mora. It lives up to the name. Seriously, unless you want something pretty, buy a Mora. This one is pure utility, has a wicked edge, and costs less than breakfast at Starbucks. The sheath was bit loose, but ten minutes in the oven cured that. Now it locks in solidly. These knives are the BEST value in blades and the quality is no compromise.

I own a few Mora knives. This is the best value knife available. It is a better knife than most knives that cost 5x more. It is easy to put an edge on and retains that edge decently. It is carbon steel so it can rust if not properly maintained.

This knife is basic in design but if your not looking for anything fancy it is well worth owning. Excellent blade material. Mine turned up almost razor sharp and after a quick strop could have been used to shave. Holds its edge very well after extended use and cheap enough not to be upset if I loose it.
