  • For ford F150 limited slip diff' + this stuff works!

    I had my 2011 f150 differential serviced & after I noticed a binding noise coming from the rear of the truck. I ask friends and all said certain limited slip Diff's needed a additive added to the standard as well. I googled this and found that the noise was actually called Hypoid Gear Noise, where vibrations created by the meshing action of bevel and hypoid gears operating in a drive system often result in gear noise. Which lead to the addition of the friction modifier. I added the Ford Motorcraft OEM XL3 Friction Modifier Additive (hence, add) for limited slip diff's. No more noise.

  • I have used this in at least 12 differen...

    I have used this in at least 12 different car/truck brands for tcc shudder. Usually I replace the filter first and overfill the pan one to two quarts. Then I open the cooler circuit and aim the hoses into the same Lowe's measuring bucket, then crank and add. It comes out faster than you can add it most times, so only run till the first sign of spit and splatter after the strong flow. Add more and crank again, never allowing the pump to run dry.
