This is the second tire I have bought. In both cases I had nails in the sidewalls making the tires irrepairable. Both vehicles were all wheel drive, requiring tires with the same tread depth. I managed to find used tires the were the same brand and series with tread depths that were close to my present tires. This saved me from buying four new tires each as recommended by the tire stores. I love the Michelin Primacy Tour A/S tire and have them on my Mazda6 GT. When one recently picked up a nail in an area that could not be repaired, I discovered that Michelin no longer makes the tire in the size I need. The tire shop wanted to sell me two new tires of a different brand, for $1000, I did not want to do that (neither the price or having mixed brands). I searched for days and could not find a replacement. And then I found United Tires on ebay. They had the last *new* tire on Planet Earth! At 11:30 pm I sent a question asking about the manufacture date. They replied within the hour! How s that for impressive service? I purchased the tire and am very happy with it.
