Great Corgi
One of the great corgi toys. When you press down on the front suspension, the wheels will steer and as kids we would "drive" it around curves. When you let up on the front suspension the wheels go back to straight again. As a collector they have some common faults. Over time the front suspension assembly can be easily found to be worn, quite complicated for a durable children's toy. Typically the paint is badly chipped and the glass is scratched. Replacement parts are available and reconditioned pieces are quite nice. The best part of these toys is the playability. The strong spring on the back latch means the ramp never accidentally drops. Has a tool shop and a sliding door and holds three cars of your choice. Suspension in the rear too. It's a race cat race transport, what's cooler than that. As a kid this transport was driven recklessly over narrow mountain roads and the rear wheels routinely slid within inches of the cliff. Only due to the incredible skill of the driver were the race cars delivered on time. It's almost a shame they have become so collectible because the best things about the 60's/early 70's die cast cars is they are so fun to play with as a kid.Read full review
