When I received my laptop I was very pleased with the packing and shipping. Awesome. Plugged it in and turned it on and windows booted up like a new computer. Connected up to our network automatically. Installed office product and email and was off running. I ran a check on the speed, memory and the rating came up to only a miserly 3.8. So I am looking the rating and see the processor is failing on processing for a higher number. Maybe the computer does not have the chip it came out with. Because of all my investigations on the M6400 came out to great rating of over 6. So with a windows system rating of 3.8 is pretty poor. It is a little slow booting up programs do to the slow processor speed. But the ram/memory and visual effects are outstanding. The hard drive might not be 7200 rpm's but seems to work normal to a 5200 rpm. Keyboard is fantastic, nice even pressure on every key is the same and nice to type on. I love the keyboard. I did my taxes using the 10 key pad and found it worked very well. Nice layout of the 10 key, period is placed in the correct area as to other computers. If you move the computer a little, the power plug comes out a tiny bit and disconnects the power and system goes immediate to battery, but you can see the screen dim when that happens. And that happen daily. Battery is weak. Only 1.5 hours on a full charge. I never hear the cooling fan either! The power supply that was sold with this laptop is not the 210 watts as needed. It is a 130 Watt power supply and is anemic for the huge power that is required for this machine. I might buy the 210 watt power supply and buy the chip processor that is required for this machine to see if it comes up to the system rating of 6+. So writing this review is not 100% positive. I would say 50% positives. I would have a 75% review rating on this machine if the power supply was the correct one at 210 watts. Even though when purchased it comes with a one year of GeekFurb tech support, I have not needed to use at this time. But I will contact them and ask plenty of questions on chip and power supply.Read full review

A friends laptop had a video problem. He really liked the computer but could not use it without an external monitor. I saw the exact model on Ebay, bought it and put his harddrive into it. He is ecstatic. It is cheaper than buying an LCD replacement.
