Great knife in the hand. Could use about another 1/2 inch on the handle but, if you put your thumb on the first jimpping its comfortable. I like the 17 degree edge it makes for a great fine work knife for skinning. also awesome in the kitchen or for steak night. The sheath is beautifully done but it could use the snap open type fasteners seen on some sheaths that hold the straps flat when opened. I might use a small strip of spring metal to accomplish this so I don't cut the straps off. A small kydex or similar material fastened to the opening of the sheath would help from cutting the sheath. In all I feel I got every penny I spent. Plan to carry it far into the future.

At first I was disappointed at the size of this knife. It’s small for a hunting knife. We butchered a pig yesterday with this knife and my opinion quickly changed. If you hold the knife with your index finger on the blade as it was designed it fits your had nicely. The size allowed for very good blade control. I skinned the hog in half the time it took for the previous pig we did just a couple of weeks ago. Bench made knows what they are doing. Now that I have used it, I would definitely purchase it again.
