Shazam. There are fancier, better built laptops, but not for the money. This one has above-par construction and features for its price range and top-of-the-line performance unusual in this category. It's a screamer, easily faster than competitors costing twice as much or more. Not really a gaming machine (though it's possible to play them at reduced settings, which is something) but fantastic for content creation. Drawbacks are decent but not stellar screen, keyboard, and battery life that are just fine, but more in line with what you are paying.

So much performance in such a portable form factor! Great build quality. Performance gets even better when you use Ryzen Controller. Only downside is that there is just 8GB of RAM, which is shared with the GPU, so you'll want to think carefully about what you'll be using it for, especially gaming. The RAM cannot be upgraded. If it had 16GB of RAM and a screen with high color accuracy, it would the perfect portable editing machine.

I love the fast booting and start. I use this laptop for video editing. I am happy that the laptop can handle davinci resolve 17 basic, and the speed is good enough for my need.

Performs very well, especially for the price and weight. Much happier with this Acer than Dell XPS 7590 laptop. I replaced the SSD with a 1TB SSD and installed Ubuntu. Runs Ubuntu very well.

Great battery life, good screen, good keyboard and touch pad, fast and can actually play many games this thing is a beast. I use it primarily for programming and it has been a fantastic mobile workstation with the occasional gaming session. The address where costs were cut are somewhat obvious with just an OK screen and keyboard/touchpad. The XPS 13 wins in those departments hands down but the Acer isn't bad enough to justify the huge cost difference. I've had cheaper laptops that had absolutely garbage keyboards or touchpads and the Acer is miles ahead of those. This is really the best laptop in general. I strongly recommend it.

This laptop is fast, lightweight, and has a long battery. I got the Ryzen 7400U which is a lot more powerful than most intel cores in laptops of similar kind. The fingerprint detector works well. The webcam isn't the best quality and the fan and track pad aren't the best design, but this laptop is a solid design that can run Starcraft II at highest quality.

The AMD Ryzen 7 4700U chip is very fast, and I love the 512GB SSD. This laptop has quick boot and load times. I did a lot of research and it seems like this laptop had the most bang for the buck of any out there.

I'm very happy with this laptop. My 2 favorites things about this laptop are the speed and the weight. This is an extremely fast laptop. Websites load right away. I've used it quite a bit on Netflix and Prime with no buffering. The weight is incredible. It's hard to believe how light it is. The sound/speakers aren't the greatest. Probably my only complaint. No issues when wearing earphones. For the price I paid, this was a great deal.

The laptop is well designed all around. I wish it was a touchscreen but what I have is ok. The battery life is not good at all. I can squeeze out about 4.5 hours from the battery. Having owned Acer laptops for years, I know Acer can do better. I like this line of laptops and if the battery can be improved that would make this laptop a great one indeed.
