The Milwaukee hydraulic dampening system in these impact wrenches is almost too effective. I can’t believe, despite a lot of research and fair warning about the design of the tool, how incredibly quiet these are compared to my dewalt and makita impact wrenches. It’s so soft you can easily underestimate how tight it’s fastening something. Three speed settings come in handy as such though. I would definitely recommend these if you want a less aggressive sound - if you’re working in a garage or warehouse you’ll appreciate it even more - without sacrificing any of the benefits of an impact wrench. Worked all day on 60% of the charge of one XC 5.0 battery building a deck. Fantastic all around experience.

Could do with a bit more subtlety for what I need. The power is so great that it comes out of screw head too easily. Also not easy to service problems in uk. They don't like the US spec.

This is a great tool. Bought to replace my aging milwaukee impact that I use every day at work. This hydraulic impact is so much quieter than a standard impact gun which is great when you're working in a commercial site where business is going on. The adjustable speed is very handy. Has a lot more driving power.

I am a metal stud framer and use Milwaukee almost exclusively because of the power, durability, and the battery system. Recently I started having some problems with pain in my wrist and hands from the constant hammering of the impact so I decided to try this new style. It was a great choice and assuming it is of the same good quality as the rest of my Milwaukee impacts I'm sure I won't be let down. Also it's pretty quiet but I wear earplugs anyways just because.

Still getting used to it but i like it. My impact is my main tool and i have been using them since they came onto the market. On a daily basis i will drive 500 to a 1000 or more screws. After 15 years and a pretty severe case of tendonitis in my elbow this tool is a welcome relief. They say it cuts the vibrations by 50% but i say its closer to 75%. And so quiet compared to a standard impact. My only problem is its making me look bad, i keep stripping screws out because it doesnt even feel like its driving them in. Its going to take a bit to get the feel for it. I miss the custom settings of my OneKey though. Come on Milwaukee i need the Surge OneKey impact now.
