Good quality door
This is a good quality made dog door. It holds up for years until a replacement flap is needed. The dogs love the freedom of coming and going when they want to. The best part is we don't have to get up in the middle of the night to let them out, wait for them and let them back in!

PetSafe Replacement Door
The replacement door is light weight compared to the original door itself. So when we get heavy wind, the door gets blown open letting cold in. Besides that one aspect, the door fit perfect, locks on to the magnet great (wash old magnet connected to the frame) and all else is nice. I would reorder. I just wish the replacement was exactly like the door that came with the frame to start with. We have big dogs and hopefully this door can hold up like the original. Only time will tell!

Very disappointed in this OEM “replacement” for 3 reasons: the magnet seems weaker than the original, there’s too much gapping at the sides precluding an airtight fit, and the color is oddly darker than the original clear. My suggestion, if this is the best replacement available, is for PetSafe to include some weatherstripping and a stronger magnet so the customer can get a true replacement. I AM NOT ENJOYING THE DRAFT WE NOW HAVE FROM OUR LARGE DOG DOOR!

Lets cold air in.
We bought this to replace the original flap which was 7 years old and getting worn. Although it was easy to switch and fit perfect, the slightest breeze opens it wide. We had to put the old one back on. It may not be pretty but at 2 degrees and windy out, we are still warm.
