Have only been using this for a week but so far so good. Lots of features, not so great quality.
Replacing an older modem that had worse issues. The cable co said this was one of only three models they would support static IP assignment on. But it drops more packets than the old model; just randomly rather than in 10 minute outages. The bundled McAfee bloatware is pretty useless. Fast Internet
I have not encountered any problems with the modem. Internet is working seamlessly on all our laptops and phones. It does requires downloading the Surfboard Central App. I initially called Xfinity to set up the modem but they were unable and wanted to send a tech. Downloaded the Xfinity app and set up was easy and fast. Only problem encountered was trying to change the name of the network and password. When I signed into the site using "admin" and "password" I received an error message. I think the only way to change it would be to reset the modem and reinstall.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Easy to set up for spectrum service. Faster than the wifi/ router and separate modem they were charging me for. Worth replacing your Comcast modem/router
I bought this to replace the Comcast rental of $14/month. Install was very easy as long as you have a hard wired laptop or desktop. I only got 100 Mbps on WIFI from my old WIFI router on an XFinity 200 Mbps plan. This router gives me the full 200 Mbps on WIFI and I also see double the WiFi range.
