Bought this amp for my son, I am a drummer, so I really don't know much about amps, but my 24 yr old son went nuts over it! He has a Epiphone Les Paul, and he loves all the features and bells and whistles, and have to admit that he sounds great on it. Good buy....
This is probably a decent amp, as long as you are willing to hire a PhD from MIT to try and program it for you. The user manual, which comes on a CD is 388 pages long. The company has gone totally nuts with options and things that can be selected and programmed, but have ignored the need of most players to turn on an amp and play.
I'm kinda a guitar novice and wanted this amp for its versatility, and so far I'm very happy with it. The sound is very good and the effects make my guitar sound really cool.
Don't have enough technical know-how to comment further, but I'm a happy camper with the product.
