The adapter came early for one thing (2 days). I needed to run two monitors for my work desktop and it only had a VGA and displayport on the video card but all I had was a DVI-I and VGA cord. This adapter fit perfectly, without have to work the connectors and the displayport snapped right in. I haven't had the first problem with this. It's a great value (Frys wanted $15 for the same thing) and not only would I recommend it, I'd buy it again.
