If you have a Little one it works great with them not rolling out if the bed is against the bed. I did have a problem though with the mattress moving and my little one kept getting stuck between the wall in the mattress. I would advice getting two. They are really easy to put together, I was a little afraid of ripping the plastic that I had to slide over the bars, but over all great product.

We wanted to put up one on either side of the bed but they can not be exactly opposite of each other the way they hook to the mattress. Clips that hold them to the box spring and lock the straps to length are not that stable. This item had been opened and was not packaged well inside the box.

I love this bed rail. It took me a total of 20 mins to setup from opening the box to finished. It’s the perfect length, my 5 year old nephew will not be falling out the bed again.

Only took 10 minutes to assemble and install by myself. No tools were needed. Has latches so it can be standing up when needed and lay down flat by flipping the two latches when ready to make the bed. Has simple ratchet straps built in to help anchor it from opposite side of the bed. Straps go beneath the mattress to hold in place and are long enough to reach over a long size matress. Slack is easily drawn up in straps to suit bed size. I tucked extra strap length under the mattress to keep out of the way. I have a really thick bed with pillow top made onto it along with two extra mattress pads and rail still sticks up plenty enough to keep baby from rolling over the side of our bed.

I bought this to use in our camper for my 2 year old son. Assembly and set up was so easy and works great! Nice and sturdy and didn’t budge when he rolled over. Now all our camping friends want one for their kids

We've been using it for about 2 weeks. It was easy to put together. Note that it requires a box spring to hold securely. We don't have one but it seems to be okay. The material is already wearing, though, on the frame so that's disappointing. So far it works on our top bunk under a foam mattress. We'll keep it b/c our top bunker doesn't move too much and I think it'll work as long as the material holds out. Hopefully by then he'll be ok without it.
