Not bad, not great
First off it does not show up in my BIOS therefore I can't boot from it (Linux on USB) but Windows recognised it but the Windows drivers don't work properly so I tried the Via-labs drivers from the website and that seemed to work but if I plugged in more than one USB device it would freak out and turn my devices on and off... but going to the power management of the USB host and disabling powersave option and can now use all the ports.and it's accessible in Linux as long as I boot from my USB 2.0 ports it's an older machine BIOS from 2011 core i7 860 I'm guessing that's the culprit. And I am getting the full 3.0 speeds from this unit so overall even after having to tweak it I'm happy with this.. Let's see if it lasts 👍Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Powerful card and fast data transfer
Easy to install PCI card with 4 - 3.0 USB ports. This let me connect an older computer without 3.0 to a new one for a home network. Just get this card and a 3.0 to 3.0 connection cable and the job is done. The old computer becomes another hard drive on the new. There are other ways to do it, but I liked this one since I only needed fast access to the data on the old one. And it gives me another place for data storage.
