Very handy for opening folding blade pocket knives with strong springs, will save broken thumbnails. I found the shape of the tip needed to be reshaped in order to better fit a nail slot. After reshaping the tip to a more pointed and rounded profile I found the tool to be much more useful. I never new such a tool existed just for opening folding pocket knives. I find it useful for other things like prying apart electronic cases etc. A nice companion for your knife collection.
