3D televisions never caught on. I've had mine for nearly a decade and it still performs great with an excellent picture. Comcast stopped broadcasting it's only two channels that didn't provide varied programming anyway. Can't rent 3D movies; have to buy them. Still, infrequently we have friends over and entertain sometimes with a 3D movie. The Panasonic active 3D glasses are obnoxiously expensive. Many years ago I purchase some of these Samsung active glasses and not only do they work, my wife & I agree the picture quality is the same as with the outrageously priced Panasonic glasses. Last time we watched a 3D movie, one of the Panasonic pairs wouldn't charge. These Samsung glasses use a button battery that last quite a long time. Buy them in quantity and I've gotten them for about $1.25 each. Just happened to see this pair of Samsung glasses and bought it to keep my total set quantity at six. There is no reason why those selling these kind of glasses should be still trying to get top dollar; this is a dying technology and they should be nearly giving them away before they're left holding them all. Nobody is buying 3D TV's anymore.Read full review

Other than being light, these 3D glasses fit very tightly over an adult size head & ears. The battery concept is good, but changing the battery with the fragile hinged door is awkward. The biggest issue to save other potential buyers headaches (literally) is the front curve of the lenses is so flat that reflections of everything in the room in the far left & right 1/3 of the lenses is VERY distracting, even in a dark room. They also don’t sit comfortably over glasses. I was hopeful with these, but the rear reflection issue is a deal breaker. The slightly older rechargeables are much more comfortable as well as any Panasonic glasses. Hope this helps 3D film lovers.

A lot thicker of a frame so they wont be breaking as often if at all, along with a rechargeable battery and both Bluetooth and IR capabilities. These are a steal refurbed because its same price as new lame oem ones. A+ on quality

Great cross platform active 3D glasses. I originally had these for my Samsung 3D plasma, but when it died; I used them on my Sony 3D LCD. These glasses work great as they fit over regular glasses with ease.

These glasses are good for watching my 3D Panasonic TV, but they are kind of flimsy and aren't all that comfortable. They also let a lot of light in on the sides, so if your room isn't fairly dark, you get a lot of peripheral light bleed. Also, they are quite reflective, so if there is something behind you that emits light (like a computer monitor), you see its reflection in the glasses. I'm not a big fan of wearing glasses at all for viewing 3D, but until technology gets passed the glasses, I guess we have to wear them! These are great entry level glasses, but if I were really serious about watching a lot of 3D TV, I think I'd spend the extra money and get some that fit well and were comfortable.
