people will appreciate valid product keys with anything they purchase...i am sure.
well it had a valid product key...so windows did not complain about the validity of the licensed product....i have a very slow system and overall it only ranks 2.4 on at least a 5.0 windows performance scale...and 32 bits as you know is plagued with internet use problems....but it is better than what was on the hardware before even if internet stuff is non-existent or slowed to a crawl.

The Windows 7 pro installed quickly, but needed SP1 and other upgrades and updates to function. Windows 7 pro needs all that extra installation to be able to go online, unless maybe you still use an old dial-up modem. I don't think the kind of broadband connection I have even existed when this operating system was written, so its important to upgrade. The upgrades can be tough. SP1 can be difficult to install and even hard to find. The last security upgrade package from Microsoft was a whopping 983mb and took about 5 hours to install. 2 days of work were required to modify the initial DVD installation. Microsoft authenticated this genuine software!

Not to impugn your integrity but we need to know the following before bidding on your posting of "Windows 7 Professional Retail version", only one code satisfies that product it is FQC-00129, without any other letters such appended as: "OEM", "rep", or "ROM", any of these mean the product is not a true FQC-00129. For instance we purchased a product described on the posting as FQC-00129 but what was sent to us was a FQC-00133, can't be used in the USA. 1. Has the box been opened? Why?: because the Product ID key is inside and Microsoft will not tell us if that particular key has been activated. If the box is opened, we can't bid. If the box is unopened then: 2. May we have a high resolution graphic file, preferably scanned, or a 5 MB or more -no flash- camera graphic in: JPG format of the Certificate of Authenticity (COA) certificate on the top of the box, both posted to us AND placed on this item's description as a graphic? Why?: because the COA has (at least)9 different data points which identify a true, unused FQC-00129. The COA certificate contains no information which would one to install the software. 3. Windows 7 Pro does everything I had hoped it would. The XP mode was easy to find and install and works great. I have a number of older productivity programs that were a big investment that I didn't want to loose so the XP mode was the main reason I wanted Windows 7 Pro.
