Happy with HP Compaq 8000 Professional PC.
I replaced my HP Vista Home PC with this HP Compaq 8000 Professional PC running Win 7. It has 8 GB of memory (RAM) and works faster browsing on the internet. It has 8 USB ports, 2 of them on the front panel, which is handy. I am very happy with the performance and the price. I was able to install and run my two old printers (really-old HP Deskjet 500 black ink, and Lexmark Z11 color). Looks and runs like new computer !!!
The HP Compaq Elite tower is universal as I can use as a tower or lay on desktop. It looks and runs as if a new computer. It's runs very fast and can have many tabs open all across screen with no delay whatsoever. It's also very quite as I can't even hear the computer running. I would highly recommend buying a refurbished computer over a new one any day as you get the same all around quality without spending a lot of money. If you didn't know any better you would think it's brand new.

The HP 8000 Elite tower I received is better than advertised. It is in perfect condition and all features are present. Off lease is the way to go, a fraction of the price of a new one. My last one was an off lease and it has lasted for years. Still working. I wanted a windows 7 Pro, my old one has XP pro, taking some time to get used to Windows 7. Came with a new keyboard and mouse. Also has a DVD reader writer. Has a full generic version of office installed. It was easy for me to transfer my old data by using an external hard drive which I also use as a backup.
