Pretty to look at but dead as a proverbial door nail. Was fine 48hrs ago. Once cleaned up, it stopped powering up. Switched ram, power supply, to no avail. No hard drive, ram, or power supply. Battery still good. Screen in great condition. I'm not a fan of the glossy screen, you have to constantly clean it. Some people love it. Being sold as a parts computer. No returns. Sold as is.

I love this computer, its lightweight & very user friendly unlike most new software, very easy to use & navigate through & find what ever files or programs you need, perfect for people going to school, it does have a short battery life so be sure to check the power bar frequently if you are typing up an assignment for school or important email for work, I highly recommend this workhorse of a computer to any looking for a decently priced computer that will get any job done 😃

This laptop is exactly what I was looking for. It's very fast. It boots up quickly and the wifi connects instantly. I bought a refurbished one, so the battery life is only 2 hours, but other than that, I'm more than satisfied with it.

The Dell Inspiron 1525 is the best laptop I've seen
The Dell Inspiron 1525 is one of the best laptops I've used. I like the model so much that I bought one for my wife, both daughters, a granddaughter, and a son-in-law. The silver keyboard and touch-pad makes it easy to see and has a very convenient layout. Plus, because it is a Dell, it is easy to get parts and help. And, the Dell website has all of the device drivers available. Most of the 1525s came with Windows Vista installed but it is easy to reload with Windows XP or upgrade to Windows 7.
