I love Aurifil thread. I only use the 50wt for piecing my quilts. I also use it on my longarm machine with excellent results. Highly recommend this thread. It is a little pricey but well worth it.

Way less expensive than other quality thread brands which only come on much smaller spools. Of course, changing spools is a much less frequent task, now. She makes many quilts with this thread and has NEVER experienced any breakage or excessive lint accumulation. And, she says she has had no tension issues with Aurifil, either. They fit standard home machines like her Juki and Brother.
