It is a very good knife for the price if you have use for a pocket knife with out a lock blade. I owned one before and really liked the overall thinness ,of the blade and the contoured feel of the grip.I own many lock blade knives that are much more expensive but this is a great knife knife . there is enough tension on the blade spring to not warrant worry about accidental closing and the easy access of opening,closing the blade is very handy for many uses. You can't beat the quality for the price anywhere.It takes a fast edge and holds it well. I also like the length of the blade as it is adaptive to most uses. It is a great parring knife and camping around the cooking area. The leather sheath is of very good quality as it has always been. The eBay transaction was absolutely perfect. The Schrade Old Timer 125OT is my talking point. I bought this model in the early 80`s because it was the same one my Grandfather had. I carried and used it regularly up until a few months ago as my blade Inst as wide as it used to be due to regular sharpening. I read Schrade had outsourced to China vs my original which is USA made..i can live with that...I read they stopped the brass linerlock... OK..I'll ll still give it a try...my heart sunk a little when I opened this new one up... It's very thin and light compared to the ones of yester year. Feels flimsy..delicate.. cheap. When I was a boy you either carried a Buck 110 or Schrade 125OT linerlock. I just bought a Buck 110 ebony that is build like they always have been. This Schrade well... Definitely is going to sit at my desk for letter opening and odds and ends cutting. I really wish Schrade would have left well enough alone. They had a great design and product...
