This is a large book, but it so easy to read, that my daughter and I have both read this book more than once. Agatha seems like someone I'd love to know. She is very candid. I've read many of her mysteries, but this book seemed easier to read. It's like listening to a rambling conversation, as she relates her fascinating life. We learn of her childhood, relatives, travels, her work with her husband - at his archeological digs, her writing - both books and plays, her hobby of house collecting, her attitude about writing, and much more. She doesn't hesitate to let you know how she feels about many of the different things in life. This book has the unusual combination of being sentimental and warm, and yet fun and entertaining.
Not only is Agatha Christie a fantastic mystery writer, her autobiography is captivating!

High on the list of my favorite books. Agatha Christie was liberated before it became a word. She shares her childhood, adventures, two marriages and best of all, she leaves out any reference to her disappearance (don't we all try to avoid the uncomfortable?). An excellent book about an astounding woman.
I've always been an Agatha Christie fan, so I had been looking for her Autobiography for some time now. I searched on here and I found and old copy of it. I decided to buy it and I'm currently reading the story of such a great writer. Thanks!
