It did not sync up w/my case and phone. Had to take it in to the Apple store, ran a diagnostic which generated an error message that the Apple store employee had never seen before. Had to send in for repair. Luckily, it was repairable and at no cost. So, had it not been repairable, I would have returned item. Seems to be working well so far.

Unable to pair-something seems off with these. When you open the case the light just stays at "green", it never goes into pairing mode. I have yet to successfully pair it to my phone or computer even after charging it for an extended period of time. Not sure what the issue is.
