I've had trouble with a variety of other branded hubs and docks in the past. This one works as expected, especially with my Dell laptop (also tried it on a ASUS laptop). It's convenient to be able to plug all devices into the dock (mouse, keyboard, headset sound adapter, ultrawide monitor, ethernet cable) and also have power delivery via one USB-C connection. And there are still a few unused ports for the occasional flash drive or other device.
