The compressor gets to the pressure limit quickly and holds the air pressure for quite awhile but it doesn't take long to get back to the max pressure when using the unit.

I bought this so that I can use my air tools without lugging around my larger air compressor and now I don't have to have power close at had to use air tools. The compressor is quiet and I have only used it so far with my brad nailer and it was perfect, no idea as to how long it will last when using a framing nailer. So far I am pleased with the purchase.
