Definitely the right choice for my first ever laptop. Material is quite good despite what popular reviews might say. Only thing to “complain” about is that the trackpad is not exactly the smoothest one out there. Kinda loud click, but great response to make up for it. All in all, it’s a steal for the price and the timing couldn’t be better, in the situation the world is in, plus it came ONE DAY EARLY. Seriously recommend this, especially if it’s for your first laptop.

The item which I purchased used is well designed but the one I bought is quite sluggish. There must be a lot of this and that in the history of the unit which is bogging down the speed and the performance of this Acer.

I haven't used it that much, but it seems to run quickly and I haven't had any problems. The only reason I took off 1 star is because I hate the inherent limitations of Chromebooks. I needed a Chromebook for my kids for school. Make sure you understand how they work before you get one. If you need one this seems to work well and was a reasonable price. Get out a ruler. I didn't really realize how big 15.6 inches was.
