Arrived two days earlier than estimated. Packaged securely in plain brown box. Chromebook in lightly used condition as described. Works as it should. Only things I noticed are the sd card slot cover is missing and the power supply port plastic is slightly cracked. Neither of these two things interfere with functionality. I am delighted with my $80 deal! The Hex case was an added plus! If you are expecting pristine buy new. If all you want to do is surf the web, listen to music, watch vids, save some $ and a few little imperfections won't bother you then get one of these units. A little rough, dead battery (works with AC pack), but works
Will not work without being connected to AC wall outlet, battery completely dead. The pieces at both ends of the hinge are broken off and gone. I suspect these were "stops" to prevent leaning monitor too far back. Small scratches and "dings" on finish, but I expected that, is as advertised in that respect. Seems to work once powered up. All in all, for the price point, I guess it's okay, pretty much what I expected. Will probably give it to friend or family member who doesn't have a computer at all. Great laptop for quick and easy word processing.
The Samsung Chromebook is really great. Fast to book up, which gets me to where I need to be quickly. It can be a little slow operating some websites but I didn't expect much with 2 gbs of ram. The one thing I'm a little upset with, the touch pad keeps sticking from time to time, which makes it frustrating when editing text, and the cosmetics of the device were a little worse for wear than I expected coming out of the box. Other than that, I love it and for what I'm using it for, accessing Microsoft word online, it's the best, most portable thing I own with a keyboard attached.

Great but could be better
Not gonna lie wasn't expecting much. But this thing is really nice does what I need to which is watch videos and movies. I can also right essays on it when I need. YouTube on the other hand works but I can't go any higher then 480p without it lagging which I don't mind. I'm just saying it could be a lot better. For gaming this thing is a no no, games run super slow. But here's some that actually run really fast. Pokemon Showdown, Yugi Oh Nexus and Adventure Quest Worlds. Anyways nice laptop overall

Great product except for one annoyance!
Very light, powerful, and convenient, but I do not like the fact that Chrome changed some of the keyboard actions, apparently to be unique. I think that was stupid, as most of us are already familiar with the standard keyboard and don't really want the burden of having to remember or lookup what some of the Chromebook keys mean/do. Exactly as described and happy with the laptop!
It is exactly as described in the description. Lightly used with the engraving. The scuff marks are what you would have from normal wear and tear on any laptop after a year if treated nicely. All the keys work, boots up fast and is great for surfing the web and doing my online school. Can be on the slow side but hasn't been an issue for what I am using it for and is in line with the stats on the computer. Very light and portable. My wife actually takes it instead of our other laptop because it is easy to use anywhere in the house and is light. Charger it came with works well. The battery life is about 6-8 hours or more depending on what I am doing. All the ports work. very slim and fits well in my bag. It doesn't take long to get to a full charge either. Great for browsing the web, and a few light games.
Pretty good unit. Web browsing is quick and everything is fast and responsive. I even installed a quake engine and played quake on it. It ran just fine. Smooth as butter. Only problem I have with it is you can't run the google play store and install android apps on it. 16GB SSD is VERY small if you want to install linux, and as other's have mentioned neither it nor the Ram can be upgraded. Does The Trick
I was in the search of something light weight, smaller in size and not to break the bank. Yes it's a Refurb and Yes it has some nicks and scrapes....but it's still Solid all around and the Internals work perfect ! I travel a lot and sometimes I do Not need my actual Laptop, but something to simply stay in touch with while away. This unit does just that. Everything I need and want is in this Unit. For the Price, it's well worth it compared to buying new. Not a Beauty Pageant.....what counts is inside and so far, so good. No problems to date. And I do use it just about every day. Again...because it's small, light and it literally Boots up in seconds ! As for the Battery....gets me thru my average day off and on....so yes the Battery life works for me ! Exceeded my expectations. Such a relief from Windows! It does everything I need & want. I was able to turn in my clunky, heavy laptop because I have a lightweight, faster machine with longer battery life. No annoying Windows updates. Does not have lightening speed, but fast enough for me to use internet based electronic health record at work. Decent l'il laotop
Glad I bought a Samsung! I do like their products but this is my 1st computer in the brand. It's a tiny, fun be item. Just what I wanted.
