This card is cool, quiet and cheap. The 1070 outpreforms the 1660ti and the RTX 2060 for only $200. It's an amazing value for 144hz gaming and this specific EVGA model is very quiet under load, while looking great at the same time. I was able to get +200MHz OC on both the GPU core and memory completley stable in fur mark for 5hrs straight. The max temp I got overclocked was only 73 C, all while being quiet. The only downside is no backplate, but still highly reccomended.

Budget builders; I recommend getting this over a used GTX 980ti! Most 980ti's require a huge amount of power draw compared to this card for near identical performance, even weighing in overclocks. I grew tired of the heat and power draw, so when my 980ti decided to fail, I went to this and haven't looked back. It performs identically, maybe even better with a decent memory overclock. According to some monitoring I've done in hwinfo64, the GTX 1070 shows a peak power draw of 140w while running 3DMark's Time Spy Extreme test while the 980 ti drew over 425w, nearly saturating the entire 12 volt rail on my power supply. I'm floored. This card is great for the money, especially if you can get one for $220 or less.

This card is much more powerful than my GTX 760, and it runs a lot cooler and quieter. My only complaint is that this card has a white LED that lights up when the PC is on. It looks cool when the computer is open, but it's very noticeable when I have my PC on overnight, and I'm not the type of person to have LEDs and clear side-panels on the computer.

no cons here,...a fantastic video card. came from a gtx 970,..which was awesome except for the notorious memory issue from nvidia...... im at 1440 p....60hz,....and every game, (triple aaa), that i play is maxxed out no problem and just looks gorgeous!. doesn't get hot at all....no throttling...and turbos to almost 2k on core by itself. for me,..this is gonna last me years i hope.

Always unsure of used items, but price was high enough to assume it'd be in good condition and it is. The only weird thing I'm noticing is occasionally if I'm switching HDMI cables I get a yellow haze over the screen and have to unplug-replug to get rid of it. That's never happened with my current evga 2080ti ftw3 nor my old msi gtx1070. Aside from that it's working great though, handles Project Cars 2 in VR on an OG Vive just fine at 1.4x supersampling. It's comfortable, does well on GTA5 on my 4k monitor as well. as in with my 'modified settings' It hovers around 70fps in 4k.
