The TYT TH-9800 is a step above your average Chinese manufactured transceiver. I have read that it is a close copy of a Yaesu, but I don't know. It includes a programming cable, and software. I used the freely available CHIRP software instead. The faceplate is removable, and the separation kit is included. I really like this radio. The power supply is a bonus. It is the first switching power supply that I have ever used with a transceiver. I have not noticed any noise from it at all, not even on my adjacent HF rig. There is a frequency shift control on the power supply, should it ever be needed. This bundle represents an excellent deal.
