The Samsung Chromebook is pretty good
The essential Chromebook, to me, is like a commodity product, efficient, inexpensive, and designed for basic use. I often use a Chromebook as a go-to computer - handy, always on, quick - especially for internet tasks. I had literally worn out my 2013 Acer, so did some quick research and found the Samsung model that was similar, and I trust the brand, so I purchased it. It fulfills all of my requirements. The keyboard has a nice feel, the screen resolution and color is fine. Battery life is shorter than I expected, but I think with the quad-core it's bound to be less - expecting 8-10 hours, getting 4-5. But that works for me as I'm often using it for 10 minutes to 1.5 hours. Basically I like it. I do most of my writing on a higher end laptop, and most of my photo-editing and video production on my desk-top computer. Would I buy this Chromebook again? Yeah I would. Since technology advances so fast, I'd be hesitant to buy an expensive one and have it become obsolete quickly, though a cheap one with a bigger screen could be a valid option. Read full review

Does the job!
Replacement for a broken aging IPad Pro for the spouse. Spouse now happy cruising the internet, Facebook & other social places. If you need something for the spouse, child or older person, this one can do it with out spending a lot of money. The only major issue-it does not have touchscreen like the IPad Pro. User will have to get use to using a keyboard under the screen which was not a big issue for my spouse. I would have rated it a "five" if it had touchscreen ability.

An outstanding laptop.
It is lightweight, the keys are a good size and not spaced too close together. It was easy to set up and get going. The colors in the pictures are sharp and clear. The type is easy to read. I'm really happy I bought this chromebook. I have multiple Samsung products and they are all excellent.

lightweight with great features
the k04 model is far superior to all the previous models before it starts faster loads pages faster have not had one problem with my k04 chromebook 4gb works nicely i had a 2gb chromebook before this one kept having problems with the screen coming on theirs plenty of memory plus with the sd card i can hold all the pictures and music i could ever want knock on wood this chrome book is the best one of all so far i highly recommend it to anyone light weight small and fast internet surfing plus no annoying virus control that has to be updated every year the chromebook automatically up dates it self and does it own thing just like my android smart phone no worries if you can use your android phone then this is just as easy to use in my opinion theres not much differents.

Great buy for my kids !
My children love their new chromebooks and they arrived brand new! Now they can do their online school as well as other things like games etc. We are very happy with our purchase plus we have a warranty in case of accidents!
