This is the first time I've used Crayola's Model Magic in the classroom. I'm in therapeutic arts and wanted to do some 3-D work for sensory, tactile, small muscle manipulation. Having individual packets with equal amounts works great. It warms to the hands rapidly. Once warmed, is easy to manipulate. It is NOT sticky and the general rules of joining parts together are the same as clay. Also, a big plus is that it doesn't rob moisture from your hands! It is self- drying, requires no baking or firing at all. Plus, it takes about two days to dry (depending on thickness), so the participant doesn't have to deal with any drying crumbling compound while working with it. When it dries, it is remarkably light weight and not at all brittle. Great product. Crayola always comes through!
