Bought this so that my son ( 1 year) could have fun hitting keys and hearing sounds and so my spouse and I could get back into playing. Unfortunately the responsiveness of this device was not really good enough for either purpose. Sometimes, a very deliberate press with a fair amount of force is needed to get the keys to sound. This makes it tough for my young son to see the cause and effect. But for us older folks, you often get the issue of double hits (you press once or hold a chord and it double plays the note) or it somehow doesn't play a note at all. This makes it too frustrating to get much enjoyment from it. If it were $20, fine. For $50, I expect better.

It says for age 6+ but my 18 month old granddaughter is enchanted by this roll-up keyboard. She's found the demo button and dances to the demo songs. Who needs piano keys?(Although I love the color coded keys for later in her musical education.) For now she carries it around like a stuffed animal. Batteries required for this kind of portability. It seems like a quality product that can take a bit of toddler abuse.

This was a gift for our 6 year old granddaughter. She loves music and is always dancing so we thought it was a good pick for her birthday. She has already learned 3 songs using the color coded booklet that’s included. Thank you for offering this great product!

More song books to purchase would be nice. I went on line and down loaded 8 more songs. The keypad must lay flat to play properly but rolled up for long it wouldn't lay flat. Reverse rolled the keypad and helped some.
