I searched the Internet for a different new unique product to color my hair with. I came upon this product and read numerous reviews from different websites. They were mostly at average 4 stars. So I decided to try it. I received it and was excited to try it. The first thing I noticed was the horrible smell! Some reviews say that it smells like hay. Well it does smell like hay straight from the horses you know what. . The directions are very confusing. You can use cider, tea, coffee, water etc to mix it with. I forgot to mention that the product is a green powder type. I used the boiling water method since I was using a blond color on my dirty (blond) hair. It tells you to mix until it has the consistency of yogurt. The smell was overwhelming. I applied the product as directed. Very, very messy. I left it on for 90 minutes. I couldn, the wait to wash it out. It takes a lot of rinsing to remove the product. I then sharpoon my hair, rinsed and used conditioner. My hair still smelt bad and was super dry. Shampoo, conditions a condition again. Not as dry or smelly at this point. I couldn'the wait to see my results. I had to let my hair air dry because I was afraid if I used a blow dryer it would make my hair feel like "hay". Final result? Nothing. My hair was the same color I started with. This product also says it conditions. It does not. I do not recommend this product for the following reasons : smelly, messy, time consuming and for me no results.Read full review

Every time I order Persian blonde I get yellow blonde! I don’t have time to send it back so I figured I’ll just order a darker brown and mix it. I hope I get the results I want it in the in had in the past

I have been using henna for about 7-8 years now and if you read the other two reviews, I'd like to say that there are things about henna you need to know. First of all, do your research! Henna will never lighten hair, only darken. So don't try to use blonde henna on dark hair. Secondly, yes there is a smell but you can use scented oils to help with that. Personally I prefer the natural odor over the horrible chemicals in conventional dye any day! If it's done right, your hair will come out beautiful. I've been coloring my hair with the red over my natural brown and grays. The grays are turned a brighter red while the brown comes out more auburn, which blends in nicely. Lastly, if you use a dark brown to color grays, you will need to use henna red first, then indigo. Once again, do your research!Read full review
