This bullet mould is very easy to use and works like a champ! I set it up on my back porch deck on a winter day when the temperature was 50 degrees Fahrenheit and a light rain was falling. It was a perfect day to pour lead bullets. I am new at making bullets, but I only had to recast two. That was no problem. I just placed the miscast bullets back in the pot and didn’t even slow down. I cast 50 .45 caliber bullets in just a few minutes, even while talking on the cell phone.

I own at least a half dozen other Lee molds. They all work good. One thing that I didn't see in the instructions is that you need to coat the mold with carbon to get better release. You do this with a wooden match flame. It helps if you do this before each casting session. Just light a wooden match and hold/wave the flame over every part of the mold cavity until it is blackened. Also, it seems that that the first 50 or so bullets are junk. Just throw back in the pot and re melt. The mold needs to be really hot. It needs to be so hot that it takes more than 5 seconds for the sprue to harden. The weight of the bullet is gauged to a lead tin alloy. If you have a softer alloy, more lead, the bullet will be a little heavier than stated, or a little heavier, depending on your mix.

This powder measure throws charges consistently within less than 1/10th of a grain, very consistent on its charges No leaks. No its not a Hornady Auto Charge or RCBS I don't have an unlimited bank account, so for under $30.00 cant go wrong . Use the info card to get close to the desired charge once dialed in it's dead on. You have to have a scale to use this measure properly I check every 5 charges on beam its always on. Saves a huge amount of time as well over the 'old way' of individually measuring loads for use with a single stage press. I would recommend this product. Thank you Richard Lee!

Made 1000 bullets first day. I had 3 bad wrinkled , so had to turn up the heat some. Mix wasn't quite right so added some tin. All the rest were perfect, GREAT TOOL. After the first 100 the mould was paid for....what can I say.

Casts well if one simply follows the manufacturer's instructions. Sizes well, and despite the small single lube groove, with a decent lube it will not lead your bore with good alloy of course. Remarkably accurate in both a 45Colt single action and a 45ACP 1911 auto. Amazing. It has replaced two old & trusty iron moulds I have because of it's ease of use, accuracy, and versatility.
