Ambico V0554 Quick Release Plate
My brother-in-law gave me the tripod without the quick release plate. I bought one from somewhere else and it didn't fit although it said that it would for this particular make and model of tripod. Needless to say when I found this one and saw the picture, it made me realize that this is the one that I needed to get. Exactly what I hoped for.
I have to rate it one star short of a full five, only for this reason. The plastic (or rubber) portion of the plate has an extremely strong and objectionable odor. I've never experienced this with any other plastic. It is strong enough to leave the odor on something else, such as the tripod head or your clothing; e.g. if you pocket it. Fits perfectly on V3000 tripod

The original Hakuba T-3500 release plate is plastic. This one is all metal and very sturdy. I'm very satisfied with this product. I will be buying more in the near future.
