wrong driver on cd but easy to use
pain in the butt to get working as the correct driver is not on the cd and the software on the cd asked for a registration code but found that online no problems, it took about 1 hour of searching the web for easycap usb driver, installed a bunch of em and one worked, now its simply plug and play, i would highly recomend this thing as its so easy to use once set up

I bought this Easycap USB a long time ago to do video capture. Wish I had bought a BLACKMAGIC or ELGATO PROs: 1) CHEAP (price) CONs: 1) CHEAP (quality) 2) Difficult to get to work with my Windows 10 desktop system 3) Video Quality was poorer than VHS (opinion) 4) Limited to software supplied, could not get to work with my other software programs that I had previously used for video capture.

This little device is not to bad for the price easy to install and although the software looks outdated it gets the job done. But don't let my software comment turn you away from getting it because there is free capture software apps that you can use.

Great tool, not easy to install.
While it captures great, it lacks with drivers and software to do it. I had a hard time getting it to work on windows 10 at first. Disc included lacks with software, and has drivers only for xp and 7.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY
This thing sucks ass. It is the epitome or chinese crap. drivers are hard to install. The CD is, always different, not even every dongle is the same. I got it to work for a few seconds once and there were horizontal lines across the screen. do not waste your time or money unless you know exactly what you're doing and are looking for a week-long project that won't pay off.

If you want to convert VHS/camcorder to digital, here's your solution!
This product did exactly what it said it would. Found an old VCR and I was able to convert my last VHS tapes to digital. Only drawback - and it's not the fault of the adapter - is that every video you input is in real-time.

No instructions
Instructions for installing software are for a completely different product. Couldn’t find info online on what settings to use to make product work. Had to fiddle using trial and error to eventually figure it out myself.
